Sur L'île Perfume Project

For my advertising creative class, I developed Sur L’île (French for “On the Island”), a conceptual perfume brand inspired by unique sensory icons of coastal North Carolina. The fragrance line features: “Shibumi”- named after the sun shades that are so prevalent on the island, “Lighthouse”- named after the iconic lighthouse on the island, and “Proco”- named after the iconic restaurant Provisions. The notes of each scent play on unique things associated with each scent while also using humor. This brand captures the essence of the island experience through imaginative, memory-driven scents that transport wearers directly to North Carolina’s shores

Nissan Xterra- Worship the Wilderness Campaign

For the re-release of Nissan’s Xterra, we focused on the vehicle’s adventurous spirit and its “cult-like” following among outdoor enthusiasts. Our campaign, “Worship the Wilderness”, called on trailblazers to embrace the untamed spirit of the Xterra, positioning it as a beacon for those who live to explore.

TV Launch Spot: A captivating 30-second ad follows the Xterra as it inspires a growing crowd of adventurers, traveling through iconic destinations like the Everglades, Acadia, and Yosemite National Parks.

National Park Tour: A 2024 experiential campaign in partnership with Kodak, featuring immersive adventures such as canoeing, hiking, and camping at national parks, showcasing the Xterra’s capabilities.

Creative Collaborations: Renowned photographer Chris Burkard leads workshops at park events, teaching participants to capture breathtaking outdoor shots.

User Engagement: Adventurers use Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 cameras to document their experiences, sharing photos with #XterraKodakAdventure for a chance to win prizes, including a custom Nissan Xterra.

Sticker Campaign: To build a visible network of Xterra fans, we designed stickers for drivers to display, symbolizing their membership in this group of adventurers. This simple yet impactful symbol enabled fans to recognize and connect with fellow Xterra devotees on the road.

Walmart+ Mothers Day Campaign

This campaign celebrates the diverse and beautiful journeys of motherhood, showcasing the strength and resilience of moms from all walks of life. Through a heartfelt 60-second ad, Walmart+ highlights stories of surrogacy, adoption, and single motherhood, emphasizing that every path to motherhood deserves recognition and love.

Social Activation: A week-long social media campaign leading up to Mother’s Day, highlighting different paths to motherhood, encouraging people to submit their own stories through the hashtag #ManyPathsSameLove

Interactive Tapestry: A digital and physical instillations showcasing real-life stories of motherhood, with immersive displays in Walmart stores and transportation hubs.

Surprise & Delight: Special experiences for participating moms, including paid groceries and personalized thank-you packages.
